"My favorite thing about Peterson is the diversity. I have learned so much about other cultures by being apart of this community."
My favorite thing to do outside of Peterson is to spend time with my family and friends. This time can include anything from seeing movies to going out to eat to just hanging out at each other's homes. I always have the best time with these people no matter what I am doing.

I grew up in a very small town and attended college in another small town, but I was always intrigued by big city life! After graduation I knew I wanted to be in a city that was lively and a school that celebrated diversity, so I started applying to Chicago Public Schools, found Peterson, and fell in love with it.
"The diversity of students, families, and staff and the way the whole school works together as a team!"
I love trying new restaurants, working out and going to sporting events, being outside by the water, and spending time with my family and friends!

I was involved in my children's school, Volta. I enjoyed volunteering in the preschool classroom so much that it inspired me to apply for an early childhood assistant position.
"Since I speak several languages I am able to help so many different people here at Peterson. I enjoy helping them understand our community."
I really enjoy yoga and reading.
