"My favorite thing about Peterson is the diversity. I have learned so much about other cultures by being apart of this community."

My favorite thing to do outside of Peterson is to spend time with my family and friends. This time can include anything from seeing movies to going out to eat to just hanging out at each other's homes. I always have the best time with these people no matter what I am doing.

After my undergraduate degree I worked in a private school in London, England.  While living there for one year, I also had the opportunity to travel to several countries.  This broadened my views on education and the world.  Next I worked in a small town preschool for several years and then in a Montessori Preschool for several years before coming to Peterson.

"I feel so fortunate to be a part of one of the best schools in the city! Peterson allows all children, teachers and parents to grow and communicate together. I feel my teaching philosophy and visions are in alignment with Peterson.  In the Preschool classroom we strive to provide a safe and happy environment rich in language, literacy, math and most importantly, social/emotional development."

Outside of Peterson I enjoy long walks with my dog, Molly, reading, fitness classes and yoga, travel, and spending quality time with family and friends.

Bachelor of Arts

I was involved in my children's school, Volta. I enjoyed volunteering in the preschool classroom so much that it inspired me to apply for an early childhood assistant position.

"Since I speak several languages I am able to help so many different people here at Peterson.  I enjoy helping them understand our community."

I really enjoy yoga and reading.
