Peterson Spring Sports Information
Track and Field
Practice
Starting Monday, April 17th (after Spring Break) and continue until Thursday, June 8th.
We have just three practices per week. If possible, everyone is encouraged to run another day on their own.
Monday: 3:40 - 5:00 at Peterson School
Tuesday and Thursday: 3:55 - 5:30 at River Park
Running Gear: T-shirt, shorts, jacket (it gets cold after 5:00 PM), running shoes, and water bottle.
Snacks: Be sure to eat a good lunch. You should not eat less than 30 minutes before running.
Meet Dates
Meets will run approximately 3 hours, but times can vary.
Important: Parents are responsible for providing transportation to each meet!

CPS Open Meet - Saturday, May 13, 2017, 9:00 - 12 Noon, Lane Tech.
Network Practice Meet - Thursday, June 01, 2017, 4:30 (approx. 3 hours), Lane Tech.

Regional Qualifier Meet (5th/6th and 7th/8th) - Saturday, June 03, 2017, 9:00 - 12 Noon, Hansen Stadium.
City Championships (5th/6th and 7th/8th if qualified) - Saturday, June 10, 2017, 9:00 - 12 Noon, Hansen Stadium.
End of Season Party
Tuesday, June 13th - 5th, 6th, 7th, and 8th - After School - Peterson Cafeteria
