Peterson is a neighborhood elementary with a STEAM and SEL focus. Please bookmark this page and our website to come back to anytime you have a question. As a new member of our community, here are a few things we ask you to commit to or take care of as soon as possible:

If you change your address, phone number, or email address — please let the Main Office know ASAP. If you would like other family members or trusted adults to pick up your child, we must have that on file in the Main Office.

Your child’s teacher knows them best. We ask that you start by communicating any needs, issues, or celebrations with them first. They can then direct a question or concern to another Peterson staff member if needed.
Your child’s teacher will reach out throughout the year with the support they need, including chaperones for field trips. Be prepared for this by becoming a volunteer. Apply here.

The Peterson Periodical, communications from your child’s teacher, and the school’s website are the best ways to stay informed with what is happening at the school. We ask that you make it a habit to read the Periodical each week.

Aspen Parent Portal is your one-stop shop for submitting absences for your child, paying school fees, and checking grades.

Peterson’s school fee is $75 per child, max $150 per family. Please pay your child’s fee via Aspen Parent Portal or in the Main Office. If you cannot pay the fee, please come to the Main Office to complete a waiver.
