I started off as a volunteer since all 3 of my kids are current or past Petersonians. As far as employment, I was an Oakland Unified teacher in CA a long time ago in a galaxy far, far away, then moved to Chicago and worked part time at an after school program in Logan Square and part time as the assistant to the Dean of Students at North Park Seminary, then became a full time mom, then worked part time at Galter Life Center in the membership department before starting part time at Peterson.

"Amazing students and colleagues; the fun/funny things the students do/say that crack me up and make my day almost every day! Seeing students grow in their capacity to handle school and relationships is very rewarding, too.   I also enjoy accompanying 3rd/4th choir on the piano!"

I have a few things I love to do: spending time with my family, eating, and reading (especially books with my kids). I also enjoy camping and building campfires, and I just recently discovered hot yoga! Love that 105 degree room!
